Director, Foolscap Studio

Juror

Adele Winteridge is the founder of and design director at multi-disciplinary design practice Foolscap Studio.

From interior architecture and placemaking to visual identity and cultural programming, Adele conceives all projects as critical investigations of human-centric, biophilic and sustainable design. Keenly strategy-driven, Adele and her diversely talented team continually question the boundaries of what design can do for people, places and communities. Where solutions do not currently exist, her mandate is to test, provoke and creatively innovate.

Working across the commercial, hospitality, residential and public realms, under Adele’s guidance, Foolscap Studio has been widely acknowledged and awarded for its endeavours to meaningfully contribute to urban communities’ identities and liveability. Adele’s recent favourite clients of note include Domaine Chandon, Noma Australia, The Commons QV, ANZ and Milieu Property.

While adhering to no single aesthetic, Adele’s work is defined by curiosity and the courage to explore the unexpected, the result being a marriage of concept, narrative, function and technical form that displays a distinctly individual, ever-welcoming character.
