Shortlist: Public Design
Sibling Architecture for Wangaratta District Specialist School
Wangaratta District Specialist School caters to students who have clinically diagnosed physical and intellectual disabilities. The building provides spaces that engage with the range of neurodiverse needs of students and that encourage skills for independent living. Sensory design devices are employed throughout the interior including colour, tactility, and atmosphere.
