Arent&Pyke for 1885 House
With a fine heritage building such as this 1885 sandstone home, designing and decorating a 21st century iteration is a highwire act. Respect for the elegance of the architecture, and restraint to ensure the balance doesn’t tip too far from the sweet spot, between traditional and contemporary, were key.
