Bergman and Co for Sakura
Driven by the Japanese aesthetic principles of Wabi-Sabi, Sakura embraces simplicity, imperfection, and impermanence to craft an intimate Izakaya in Melbourne’s historic Wesley Place. The interior reworks traditional influences with a contemporary hand, fusing roughly hewn finishes, expressed junctions and diffused light to explore tensions between precision and rawness.
