Transforming a late 19th-century building (The Balmain Supply store) into a fluid home, elegantly radical palette selections for soft furnishings mix grace with attitude. Bold hues and textures mingle within the statuesque sandstone walls, whilst references to Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Art Nouveau flourishes and Japanese framing devices add delicate touches.
