Square and Compass explores detail and materiality at a lower level spatially – the importance of a neighbourhood institution was the forefront – referencing Carlo Scarpa’s Fundazione Querini Stampalia – expressing his architectural detailing and micro details at large. Honest materiality throughout: was paramount to creating this timeless space.
