The Kinghorn Cancer Centre is a translational research facility. The ten storey atrium includes stairs and bridges accessing laboratories, consulting rooms and the outdoor gardens. The design encourages physical and intellectual interaction between staff and patients, to provide opportunity for new ideas and thoughts to be exchanged and formulated.
