A confident project that not only incorporate extensive ESD principles, but also makes innovative and integrated use of them as teaching elements.  Various ESD systems have been exposed and cleverly emphasised as education tools, resulting in an interior where the environment, quite literally, becomes teacher.  The designers have achieved a striking outcome within the constraints of a public project budget.  The innovative approach to ESD has contributed to a refreshingly uninstitutionalised interior that, while robust, is also highly habitable and dynamic.
