RLDESIGN for Macquarie Street Penthouse
Jury Citation
The jurors were impressed with the skilful balance between the contemporary form of this glazed penthouse and the eclectic mix of furniture, materials and colour to deliver a warm and rich environment for living. The contrast of contemporary steel and crisp reflective surfaces with the richness of dark oiled timbers and textured fabrics was most successful. The designers respected the base building architecture with a strong focus on external views and their considered integration of the interior with the exterior balconies.
