Jury Citation

Dusk is an experiment in the possibility of making interior places.  The designers have extended the boundaries of material and object application within interior space, with surprising, charming and thought-provoking manipulation of ubiquitous and obsolete objects.   The components that comprise the interior are varied and play numerous roles as form, finish, metaphor and provocative suggestion.  The resulting interior is intellectually stimulating and challenging while never overlooking the crucial qualities of comfort and human scale.
