Jury Citation

Designed from the inside out, the Ivy is a statement with staggering detail and decoration it represents the ultimate of its type. Hecker Phelan & Guthrie has created a lavish playground, a world within a world of glamour and Palm Springs nostalgia. The Ivy is now a Sydney centrepiece for fun and partying in the thick of the city. The jury applauded the humour, energy and consistency of concept on such a massive scale.
